Samsung Galaxy Note Edge comes to India at Rs 64,900.




Samsung has launched its Galaxy Note Edge in India. The Samsung Note Edge will be available from January first week at a price of Rs 64,900 in Charcoal Black and Frost White colours.

The Note Edge adds a curved screen extention to the Note 4. The rest of the device is the same, but the curved glass just gives it a new dimension by displaying news tickers from partners like Yahoo, or just showing your notifications or night clock in a more subtle manner.

The Edge screen also provides quick access to frequently used applications, alerts and device functions–even when the cover is closed–all with the swipe of a thumb. The Note Edge allows users to access email, Internet, applications, notifications, news and more without disturbing the content on the main screen.

Google Nexus 6 to start selling on the Playstore from midnight



Nexus 6 is Google’s latest flagship device made by Motorola and which comes with a 5.96-inch display. Unlike other heavily discounted products as part of the GOSF, you will have to shell out Rs 43,999 for the 32GB variant whereas Rs 48,999 for the 64GB variant of the Nexus 6. It will be available in two colours: Midnight Blue and Cloud White.

Google’s Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) for this year will commence tomorrow. One of the major products that was announced at the Delhi event to kick off GOSF, apart from the Chromecast, was Google Nexus 6. Google will start selling the Nexus 6 on the Playstore from midnight onwards

Xolo announces Omega series smartphones on Twitter



Xolo has launched its Omega series of smartphones – Omega 5.0 and Omega 5.5 in an exclusive Twitter launch.
The Omega series phones run a customised version of Android called Hive UI. Based on Android 4.4, Hive comes with features that allow users to share real-time feedback, new feature ideas, interact with the development team and other Hive users through the Connect app.
The Xolo Omega 5.0 is priced at Rs 8,999, while the large screen Omega 5.5 is priced at Rs 9,999.

Moto G is now seeding Android 5.0

Motorola Moto E 2nd Gen specifications surfaced

Xiaomi Redmi Note sold out on Flipkart in 6 seconds




Xiaomi's Redmi Note smartphone has been sold out in 6 seconds. Its global VP Hugo Barra took to Twitter to announce that its latest product in India was sold out on e-commerce portal, Flipkart. The company had offered 50,000 devices on sale costing Rs.8,999.

"Mi India: Redmi Note out of stock in 6 secs today! @Flipkart @MiIndiaOfficial ," tweeted Barra, who previously worked in Google before joining the Chinese company.

Xiaomi is also preparing another model of the Redmi Note which will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm processor and will support LTE networks in the country. That model will cost slightly more at Rs.9,999.
